FJMC is an excellent accredited university according to the European Quality Standards for Higher Education
The faculty received an excellent assessment from the NAOA for the next 4 years
The NAOA Accreditation Council has unanimously set a score of 9.52 for 30 specialisations in the field 3.5 "Public Communications and Information Sciences" of Sofia University. 23 of them are in the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication (4 for Bachelor's and 19 for Master's). With this evaluation, our specialisations receive accreditation for quality education at the European level for the next 4 years. The new score is 14 tenths higher than the previous one in 2019, when the training in the professional field 3.5 at Sofia University was evaluated with 9.38. Currently, FJMC is the leader in three independent academic rankings:
- FJMC is the leader among the 8 higher education institutions in the same field in the Rating System of Higher Education Institutions in Bulgaria of the Ministry of Education (https://rsvu.mon.bg/#/predefined-rankings).
