The Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication is conducting a joint workshop on creative communications with the Bulgarian Public Relations Society (BDVO), aimed at training students majoring in Public Relations. 

The format of the training includes established PR practitioners and experts from the communications sector, who share their professional experience firsthand. The workshop is oriented towards working on specific communication situations and emphasizes the application of knowledge in real professional conditions.

Classes for part-time students have already ended, and the next stage will include full-time students, who will work on current cases and communication challenges. The head of the Department of Communication, Public Relations, and Advertising, Prof. Nikolay Mihaylov, emphasized the importance of combining academic training with current practical skills as a key element in public relations education.

BDVO Chair Gergana Ivanova pointed out that the partnership with FJMC creates a sustainable link between the university and professional practice and contributes to the long-term development of the communication profession.

The Creative Communication master class covers key topics in contemporary creative and strategic communications and aims to develop the skills needed to work in a dynamic public and institutional environment. The initiative is in line with the FJMC's consistent policy of supporting education that is open to current processes in public communication and to the social responsibility of the profession.

By incorporating external expertise into the learning process, the faculty creates an environment for critical reflection on communication practices and for the development of a professional culture based on transparency and ethical principles.

The Public Relations program at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication provides students with a solid foundation for understanding the mechanisms of public communication and for articulating oral and written expression. The program creates opportunities for professional realization in various communication fields, as well as for continuing education in master's and doctoral programs in Bulgaria and abroad.
