Memorandum of cooperation between Sofia University and M3 Communications Group on the training and placement of students from FJMC

mem01The Rector of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", Prof. Dr. Georgi Valchev, and the CEO of M3 Communications Group, Inc., Dr. Maxim Behar, signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing a long-term and sustainable partnership in the field of education, practical training, and professional development of students from the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Veselina Valkanova.

In his speech, Prof. Georgi Valchev emphasized the importance of active dialogue between the university and the professional environment, noting that such partnerships create real conditions for a closer link between academic education and practice. According to him, strengthening cooperation with businesses is a natural step towards better preparation and the successful realization of students.

mem02Prof. Veselina Valkanova emphasized the main areas of cooperation – internship programs, joint training initiatives, master classes, and workshops with the participation of prominent experts from the field. She emphasized that such interaction contributes to maintaining up-to-date curricula and achieving a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and professional experience. The dean also noted the importance of feedback from practitioners for the continuous improvement of the educational process.

Dr. Maxim Behar expressed his satisfaction with the deepening partnership with Sofia University and pointed out that the company will continue to invest in the development of young professionals in the field of communications.
After signing the memorandum, Maxim Behar presented a plaque to Prof. Georgi Valchev, PhD, for Sofia University as a preferred partner of M3 Communications Group, Inc., as well as a plaque to Prof. Veselina Valkanova, PhD, for her role as ambassador of the company.

The memorandum provides for the joint implementation of a structured internship program designed for students from all majors at the Faculty, which will provide opportunities for practical training and work on real projects. It also provides for the participation of experts from M3 Communications Group, Inc. in conducting practical training, master classes, and workshops, as well as organizing joint conferences, seminars, and career forums aimed at student development and improving the quality of education.
