The collection "Communications, Media, and Education in the Paradigm of New Technologies and Artificial Intelligence" has been published

sbor25The new volume "Communications, Media, and Education in the Paradigm of New Technologies and Artificial Intelligence" brings together the papers from the 5th International Scientific Conference held on October 24 and 25, 2024, in Sofia under the same title and organized by the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" as part of the series of international conferences "Communications and Media in the 21st Century," which bring together scientists and researchers from around the world to discuss current issues in journalism, media, and the training of communications specialists.

The event was part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication as an independent unit of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski."
Participants in this forum focused on the challenges and prospects for the media and journalism education in the era of rapid changes in digital media and the rise of artificial intelligence. The conference was attended by 114 researchers and colleagues from 13 countries: Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Ukraine, Lithuania, Romania, Georgia, Serbia, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and Bulgaria. The Bulgarian participants are from leading universities and departments, institutions, organizations, and media outlets.

The academic partners of the international conference are prestigious foreign universities: Eastern Kentucky University, USA, Vilnius University, Lithuania, Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania, Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, Portugal, Shota Rustaveli University in Batumi, Georgia, University of Bucharest, Romania.
