International Scientific Conference "Media And Communication: Transformations And Development In The Digital Age"

The Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication organized an international scientific conference as part of the celebrations of the 135th anniversary of Sofia Universityt. The event is part of the celebrations of the Foundation of the University of Sofia "St. Kliment Ohridski". The conference will be held on 26-27 October 2023 within the framework of the St. Kliment's Days of Sofia University. in the Microsoft Teams video conferencing platform.

The event will be held with the academic partnership of Eastern Kentucky University, USA, Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, Portugal, University of Vilnius, Lithuania, University of Bucharest, Romania, and University of Batumi Shota Rustaveli, Georgia.

We invite to participate media and communication specialists, graduates of the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, as well as all those who are engaged in the problems of media and communication environment and culture in their various dimensions and manifestations.

We look forward to receiving your applications by 30 June 2023. Their relevance to the Conference issues and their inclusion in the program will be assessed by a Scientific Committee by 31 July 2023.

Participation fee - 50 EUR. Participants (tenured faculty and full-time Ph.D. students) from FJMC are exempt from the participation fee.
